In the meanderings of my second memory are moments that only last a heartbeat, like the flickering image of a meadow right by the river.

My memory; which helps me to hold on to details at short notice, only brings memories to light for a fleeting moment. But today, as I enter this old, familiar place, I sense that something is wrong.

The place where we sat so often seems different, less inviting, almost as if it has changed in my absence. A twinge of doubt runs through me – have I perhaps remembered this place more fondly than it ever was?

My brain works tirelessly, trying to connect the faces and the place from back then with the now.

This silent dance of remembering and forgetting is like an invisible puzzle that shapes and reshapes my understanding of the world.

In this wheel of time, of fleeting and constant thoughts, I find myself again, always searching for the true image of the past, navigating through the quiet drama of forgetting and remembering.
